This information is provided though Walk Score and will tell you the ratings (0-100) of the areas walkability, biking and local transit. This will help prospective college students learn what their transportation options are for locations of interest.
Food Search
By utilizing Yelp! we provide information on food options for locations of interest. You can either run a search for Grocery options or a search for Delivery in the area - allowing students to find food that accomodates their lifestyle needs. Results include a link to the locations, so you can further investigate them on your own.
People Search
A major component to any new adventure is finding people you can enjoy it with. This search, which uses census data gathered by Demographic Inquiry, tells you all about who lives in the location of interest. From this search you can learn about what types of people live there, by age, race and gender. This, we hope, will enable you to find you friends and a good community to start your new college life right!
